Well, this post is going to contain some pretty technical stuff. If you can’t handle computer terms, or just don’t get technology, you can skip this post without missing out too much.
First things first. Apple has released their MacBook Air!

Link to Apple Website
It is rather awesome, but having only one USB port is kind of limiting. The other specifications are rather impressive. 80gb HD, 1 mini DVI-out, and an audio out port. It has no firewire port, nor does it have an express-card slot. Plus, it’s so thin, it might break when I try to hit someone with it. It starts out for $1799, but if you add a solid-state HD, the price goes over $3000. My MacBook Pro only cost me $2000, yet it’s just as portable as the MacBook Air.
My site has also been having some problems. The forums had gotten messed up(no thanks to my constant tinkering), and I had to do a clean install. My picture-managing system was also having problems, so I deleted it and installed 4Images gallery. It integrates rather nicely into my site, also. PHP is rather annoying to work with, too. Whenever I forget one thing in it, such as a”>” symbol, it returns errors. The blog was the hardest to integrate, but I’ve done it. The site is now uniform, and it looks good, too.

This is going to be a pretty large post, with a ton of pictures. It’s been quite a while since I’ve last updated my blog. The winter vacation was good and all, and New Year’s was okay, but it was a bit boring. I went to Manhattan(a short subway ride away from home), and to the Rockefeller center, which is what I do almost every year. Nothing new or exciting there, just what’s there every year. I also took up quite an interest in ice skating over the break. Now, because of Regents week, I don’t have school for a whole week and a half. Plenty of time to get a good number of comics done, and to update the site. Pictures:

That’s what happens when you use Windows. I found this at the Nintendo store.

No points for guessing where this came from.

Happy New Year! Site’s done, and the filler has been taken care of. Things seem to be going well, and the weather is rather pleasant in NY. I’ll post more pictures of the vacation tomorrow. Let’s all hope that 2008 is a better year than 2007.

Now that I’ve gotten today’s filler up, I can focus on finishing the site. The blog and forum are pretty much done, but the pictures section needs to be tweaked out a little more. The character bios page will be up and running shortly, and the extras page will also be added. By New Year’s Eve, the site will be 100% done. Yesterday, I saw “I Am Legend,” starring Will Smith. The acting is good, and the plot is awesome. It gets confusing at times, so it’s best not to miss any part of it. The zombies were a little cliché, though. This movie is an emotional roller-coaster, ranging from sadness, to fear, to happiness. I’m not going to reveal plot details, in case some of you haven’t seen it yet. I’d give “I Am Legend” at least a 4.5 out of 5. Below is the Christmas filler, in case you didn’t see it on the comic page.

Well Merry Christmas to you all! Or whatever other pointless nice holiday you celebrate. Christmas is the best a great holiday. Anyway, I’ll post pictures of my trip to NYC on Wednesday. That’s all for now!
