On Thursday, June 24th, 2010, I graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School. All I have left to do is pick up my diploma and report card on Monday and I never have to go back to that prison ever again, awesome. I’m going to Baruch College, but before that, I have a summer to enjoy.

A good idea would be to set the mode to automatic when you let a friend use the camera. Sure you might know how to work the camera and all of its elite features, but not everybody does. I came upon this conclusion when I was looking through my camera’s memory card earlier today. Out of 136 pictures, about 50 came out decent, and those were the ones I took. It’s a small tip, but it could save potentially photo-worthy moments from being ruined by a technically inept friend.
On April 12, 2010, Parliament (UK) passed a bill to “help protect copyright online and increase regulation and control of the way people use the Internet.” It’s set to go into effect on June 12, 2010. How does this affect us in the United States? Simple, if a developed, modern country passes and implements a law controlling the internet, other countries will follow with their own legislation. “Repeat offenders” will have their internet cut off by their ISP‘s, for an indefinite period of time. This is just another sad attempt by the entertainment industry to stop piracy.

Would be so much better. High school is a time for relaxation and growing up, not for working your ass off. Advanced Placement (AP) classes offer college credits in exchange for giving up most of your social life, free time, and sleep. Doesn’t seem like a very good deal to me, I still don’t get why people willingly take them…

Disclaimer: This was an April Fool’s joke. Hell will freeze over before I actually switch back to Windows.
To Windows 7, that is. I’ve been debating on this issue for a while now, and I’ve made up my mind. Why? There are several reasons for this, actually. Windows 7 looks a lot nicer than Mac OS X at this point, especially with its new dock-like superbar. A lot more music software is available for Windows, and it’s much easier to obtain. Photoshop runs just as good on Windows, too.
Now I’m not completely switching over yet. I’ll be dual-booting 7 and OS X for some time before I can completely move over. I still love Apple and all of its products, it’s just that I find 7 to be a better product than OS X at this point in time.
I’m not posting on a regular basis anymore. This is a personal blog, as in I get absolutely nothing out of it but the satisfaction of blogging. I started this blog in late 2007 for fun, and I intend to keep it that way. I’m not monetizing it, nor am I ever committing to another schedule. I’ll post whenever I feel like it. Don’t agree with me? Alright then, don’t slam the door on your way out.
