Well, personally, I actually like Obama. It’s a pretty common-belief that George Bush didn’t do a very good job, and I think Obama is doing as good a job at cleaning up his mess as anyone can.

@Benje: Well there are a lot of things that DO match. Here are just some of them.

He’s of mixed heritage.
He’s a socialist.
He came into power in a time of economic recession.
People loved him at first.
He gives powerful speeches. I mean I know he’s just talking bullshit, but to an ordinary Joe he’d seem very convincing.

Let’s hope that the similarities don’t continue, otherwise it’d be cause for worry.
